Ku Joo-wol (Ha Jung-woo), sensitive guy and half-hearted vegetarian, is in a creative slump after publishing his first novel and is always getting dumped by women because of his timid nature. Then he meets and falls in love at first sight with the cool and confident Hee-jin (Gong Hyo-jin), an employee of a film import company who enjoys amateur photography.[1] They become a couple and Joo-wol begins writing fiction based on his girlfriend, but ends up uncovering secrets from her mysterious past.[2]
Touted as a "Male Bridget Jones", the story tracks the hero’s bumbling journey through modern dating, which turns out to be a lot harder than he thought. The film is described as a very frank and funny look at how men deal with the ins and outs of a relationship, from confessing his feelings to figuring out how to deal with waning attraction.[3]
